Spot Delivery - More common with special finance auto loans, a spot delivery takes place when a dealership delivers an automobile to a consumer before they have finalized the loan. Spot deliveries were more common when receiving financing terms from a subprime lender took more time than it does today, where applications are submitted and decisioned electronically.
